Thought I was having another Déjà Vu moment. Then I realized that I had read this before.

This is an exact duplicate of the Senate Bill, (http://www.migunowners.org/forum/showthread.php?t=215558) 2013-SB-0049 (http://legislature.mi.gov/doc.aspx?2013-SB-0049), which has already passed through the Senate Committee and is now back to the floor for a vote.

It could be that both houses are trying to fast track this language into law.
I have said it before, if they really want it, they can make it happen.

Its a positive knee jerk reaction to the New York paper publishing Lawful firearms owner information.
Until they do away with the registration/purchase system completely, I know I would prefer my info to be keep private. :mg: ( I bet some of our anti-gun gun owning politicians Really want this to pass quickly)
