This curriculum is optimized for the average female to survive an assaultive encounter. It is not strength based, but exploits the weaknesses and advantages of the human anatomy for effectiveness. By careful study of this approach, trainees can maximize their escape and protection potential against an assailant. This seminar features a collection of protection actions and escapes from common engagement methods of an assailant. These include, and are not limited to grabs, embraces, chokes, and strikes.

Assistant instructors work with the female trainees in the application and understanding of the techniques demonstrated. Techniques presented are selected for their adaptive application of empty-hand or weapon-based implementation. Other topics covered include:

Survival mindset
Criminal psychology on target selection
The use of weapons and mundane items used as weapons
The use of force spectrum

We still have openings for this. The curriculum and atmosphere is ideal for learning the escapes and mitigation of common grabs and embraces used in unwanted contact.
