Annual Thanksgiving Pheasant trip

Well as usual we made our yearly trek to Iowa for some holiday roosters.

Great trip and was our best year ever. My son also shot his first rooster baby!

Winchester the Super Retriever was slightly frosted over - It was then that I realized, "Yes - its seems to be abit chilly".

Handsome for sure.....but I am afraid he is not getting any younger, as that is not frost on his muzzle. He will be sorely missed when that sad horriable day comes. I hope to have a few more great years of this before that day comes.

They sure get excited when they are told to load up dont they? My springer knows when the tailgate drops its time for a ride and to work.

When he is in the cab he knows its all fun and he can sleep until we get to our campsite
