Way back when the shall issue legislation was being debated the "Michigan Prosecuting Attorney's Association" lobbied against the legislation now they want special privilege, screw em. let em live with the rest of us.

I agree, do away with the PFZ's or give everyone with a cpl the exemption.

If our elected officials cared what we thought about the subject, it would never have made it into the committee in the first place.

Did you tell your elected officials? When I spoke with one a month ago on this Bill, I was told I was the only one to contact him on it.

My rep is a sponsor for one of the three "special class" bills. I told him it was a bad idea when they tried it last session. He is also sponsor of the knife control legislation. My senator is Howard "screw you dude" Walker. He is a lame duck and unguided missile rolled into one. These are the same elected officials that told me 9 out of ten hunters are in favor of having their hunting taxes double.

Oh yeah, I have contacted them! If your rep is sympathetic to our cause, ask him where all the opposition is coming from. If your officials are republican and won't tell you who hates gun owners, our problem is probably in republican leadership. My guys are members of the GOP and just can't seem to identify who is holding up the process. I don't think they are very pro gun, however.

Agreed, there is no reason why this state can not have knife preemption and switchblade ban repeal. Most of these republicans are worthless.
