Took thursday off of work. High 30's , low wind and hungry schools of JUMBO perch with the bonus line stripping 18" steelhead...a 1st for me. :score: --Also landed 24" gar pike (safely returned) and 40"+ northern pike (safely returned) after it tried attacking me--lol!!
My best day of ice fishing ever

For sure. It was my 1st "silver bullet" . It peeled some line for sure. As soon as i saw the chrome flash go by the hole at 90 mph , i thought to myself "naw, cant be" ....

Its not that bad at all. I vak pak them into 10 fish proportions for 5 meals . A good sharp knife is the trick and a supporting wife who burns candles to combat the fish smell :flamethr:
