just looked on dnr website, there is a "no shoot" time from march 31 to july i believe

but isnt there a law that says you can shoot them all year round if they are doing damage to field or crop?

I live in the blueberries and the farmers hate them, but am i allowed to shoot them now or do i have to wait until the "season" opens up?:shrugs:

Crows may be taken outside
the open season during hunting
hours, in compliance with
federal regulations, if these
birds are causing a nuisance or
creating a health hazard.

From MDNR Handbook

Just because someone 'dont like em' may be difficult meet no hunting regs..
or the exceptions to them.

Ever investigate the reasons for the 'season' on Corvus.

I wouldn't recommend your blueberry hunting loophole. I've live in and around blueberries my entire life and never seen a crow problem with berries. Even if they developed a taste, that would be late summer when the season is already opened.

Any earlier and you'll be restricted to pass shooting or using a call. That wouldn't be defending the crops and most likely result in a citation.

Yote bait?

I'm sure one or two became a snack.

I get my share or road kill deer for bait. T-post driven through the rib cage keeps them anchored in the shooting lane.

My yotes eat well.

Dinner for the DNR. I just read about hogs and it sounds like they need corvus for dinner.
