Is this one of Jenny's schemes to make money for the state? I say NO WAY! It's hard enough for the sportsmen & women of this state to get a permit for bear or elk. And now...they want to auction some of them off to the highest bidder? As far as I'm concerned, our hunting opportunities should NOT be for sale!

This stinks!:321:

Mike, Did you post this on M-S.com? If not, could you please? We need to get more sportsmen aware of this and contacting their representatives.

this is a joke. so basically only the rich doctor trophy hunters will be able to hunt these animals.

so those of us who have been applying for 15 years can get bypassed by some weekend warrior with a fat checkbook. Sounds about right for this state. how do we explain to the kids in hunters safety that politics wins out over the sportsman efforts and money that make the outdoors what it is in this state.

You wont hear MUCC talking about this, They have been in the back pocket of the Gov. for a long time, Remember our short-lived dove hunting season? As far as the point system goes, What a Joke, I had 6 points last year for a bear permit and applied with another who also had 6 points and we still couldn't draw a permit. But his girlfriend and father who only had 2 points a piece drew permits for the same area and hunt date that we had applied for.
Aunt Jenny is more concerned about making a buck and a name for herself than she is about the sportsmen and women of this state. She hopes to become
Hilliary's right hand if she is elected.
The auctioning of or the proposed auctioning of these permits should be an outrage to all sports persons of this state. It is just another attempt by this Governor to make some more money.

Its for the Rich boys who typically go hunting with an empty gun case and drink and wine and dine the local bar crawlers. Only now they will be able to possibly come back with a trophy to show the wife who sat home thinking her hubby has been faithful. No thanks I have enough game right here that I just pay for my average joe shmoe lic fee's
