Hi everyone,
I found this site last night while researching Michigan concealed weapons laws and I have to say I absolutely love it, in fact, it is quite addicting… I stayed up fairly late last night (2-3 in the morning) reading hundreds of old posts from the last year or so and when I woke up this morning I immediately got back online to read more… :computer: I am thoroughly impressed with the information available and the absolute knowledge of its members… Hats off to you!
While I do not currently own any guns yet, (sad, I know) I am scheduled to take my CPL class at the local community college at the end of March…March 29 to be exact and I can’t wait!

Welcome and don't "overdose" on information. You have all the time you need......we're not going anywhere.

What "local" comm. college are you going to for your CPL class? Where do live and what do you do besides read this forum and sleep? :hick:

Ahh,

I live in Lansing, taking the CPL class at Lansing Community College - it's put on by LPD at their shooting range.

Besides reading and sleeping I spend 36 hours a week in the Emergency Room as a trauma nurse.

Never fired a P229 myself. S&W M&P .40,,,,, Ruger SP 101 .357 mag and S&W .457 model in .45 are my carry choices. All depending on what I'm doing and / or wearing. I need a few more choices tho.

Welcome to one nurse from another! I work Psych part-time and work in drug and alcohol rehab the half of my work week. If you like the 1911 stlye the Sig Sauer is hard to beat. For a good CCW gun check out the Para Warthog. A true 1911 in .45 in a good concelable size. I just bought a Springfield XD sub-compact and am thinking about trading it in all ready, or maybe just adding o the collection with another one. Good luck deciding and welcome!
