The Chain O' Lakes Sportsman's Club "Clay Crushers" took a Silver Medal in the junior varsity competition yesterday downstate, at the Detroit Sportsmen's Congress!
The COLSC three man team was comprised of Coty Hutton, Frank Israel, and Zeke Vanas.
COLSC sponsors this newly formed SCTP Youth shooting team, and has regularly scheduled practices at the club.
The competition was focused on a fifty "bird" course, and COLSC's Frank Israel scored an impressive 35/50 !
...The COLSC SCTP youth shooting program started last fall under the direction of the COLSC club's Secretary Doug Fowler, and club member Noel Hutton.
...The Chain O' Lakes Sportsman's Club is committed to the shooting sports, and in the proper training of our youth in both the SCTP program, and Hunter Safety.
...Donations to help this activity grow can be sent directly to COLSC at: P.O. Box 765, Bellaire, Mi. 49615. Donations should be noted as "SCTP Youth Shooting program"
