Tired of the WalMart specials, looking for something better. Some body recommended Decots, but I don't really wanna spent $275-300 on 'em either. There has to be a middle ground. Links are appreciated.

I can't believe that, DMO, knowing some of the "Characters" that read and post here, and know HIM, would open himself up for this.... Well, here it comes:

Any of these would fit the requisites for shooting glasses for you.

It is not like there is any help for your shooting, other than stocks that actually fit you.

i got this set up about a month ago, find me at the range and ill let you look at them. I got them because i could not find a pair that would not fog up during 3 gun.so far they have not fogged on me at all.

I like the BX safety glasses made by 3M. one of the more comfortable ones to wear and they are pretty scratch resistant and have great clarity. In the past I have has a local optician make a pair of clear safety glasses for me with non prescription lenses. Cost about $100 with the frames. I liked them until they met an unfortunate end (hint - do not put them down in your car and drop your shooting box on them)

I have heard ESS's are pretty good. I hear that they are a subsidiary of Oakley. Supposedly most Oakleys are ANSI rated. There are some big names in the industry like RSF that have been moving towards Smith Optics Elite. I know I am trying to find a local dealer for them so I can try some out. http://www.smithoptics.com/elite/

This is the same as helmets for motorcycle riders--only buy what you think your eyes or head is worth.

I use Smith Optics Parallel sunglasses. The sunglasses come with interchangeable lenses -- one of the lens sets is perfect for low-light (shooting range) environments. The frames fit well, are light weight and are very comfortable. They're great because they don't add any distraction while you're shooting. You put them on and they stay put. The lenses are robust and offer maximum coverage.

Wiley X or if you have to much money to spend the Oakleys...from all the pairs I have tried on those are the 2 I like best. I don't have to much money, so went with the Wiley X. This is the set I run, and this company is a MI company so I try to give them biz when I can (local to me here in Three Rivers):

I wear a pair of Oakley Half Jackets with clear lenses for indoor, and tinted ones when shooting outside.

Take a look at Uvex S3200x or S3500X. They have good visibility for shooting prone and a gap between lens and brow support for ventilation.
- Anti fog
- UV
- Tinted: s3202x s3210x s3501x s3510x
- Ballistic rated
- $10.00 from Amazon

I have a pair of EyeSights. Reasonably priced, work great! However, more often than not, I just wear my everyday Wayfarer sunglasses.

I also am a fan of Rudy Project. I've had mine for a while and really like them. Have a couple of different lens sets for them.

Glad to hear you like them. What style? I ordered mine last week with a distance rx in non dominant eye and Plano in dominant eye. Should be here this week. I tried contacts first to ck rx. It worked good but I can always feel the contact. I ordered the Magster.

I went with Rydon. They had a special on a second set of lenses, so I have blue and then a clear set that darkens with sun light. Really like their fit.

I have Rudy Project Rydons with an rx insert. They are nice glasses but the arms are not flat so they can get uncomfortable under muffs if wearing them for a long time. Something to consider for any glasses you get.

Sorry, I know I am contributing late in the game on this one. There are a lot of options between the $50.00 and $150.00 price range. I typically run polarized Oakleys of some kind through the summer months while I am outside. I have never been disapointed with any Oakley Products. I plan to purchase another a pair of the ESS CDI sunglasses. They come with clears and are easily interchanged. Come in a nice zippered case as well. My previous set was stolen before I could really get attached. Here are a few links if you are still looking. If you look around online you can find some very good pricing compared to the MSRP pricing on the manufactures sites.
