what a stupid article..

I remember when journalists had the "what where why when how" answers in the stories...

but instead, we get these pearls of wisdom...

" A few days after hatching, the larval walleyes are moved to ponds. "

larval walleyes???

I'm certainly no expert on fish, but apparently it's an appropriate term.

The same kind of news people that think that UNborn people are "mass of protoplasm," or "products of conception."

Its been pretty good in Port Huron. The river is still holding the bigger fish but the lake is producing more numbers.

For you lol I struck out the last few times out but the conditions where less them ideal. Might go out tonight and give it another shot. Got a huge chest freezer to fill.

Just curious, but wouldn't a "freezer full" be a violation of possession limits?

Fron 2013 DNR Fishing regs:

Possession Limit: In addition to 1 day’s daily possession limit of fish, a person may possess an additional 2 daily possession limits of fish taken during previous fishing days provided that the additional limits of fish are processed (canned, cured by smoking or drying, or frozen).

Not claiming "legal beagle" rights here but, catch them, clean them, freeze them, and go fishing again, what's the problem?

Remember that JackWagon that was caught with a cooler full of kings and they got a warrant for his home and his business because the guy he was fishing next to at the mouth of the AssWobble under the bridge was from fisheries and wildlife (a fed).
The JackWagon bragged about how many pounds of salmon he had taken in the last 3 weeks and they found he had like 6 full sized chest freezers filled with Salmon and Walleye. The final weight was something just under a ton of frozen fish.
I wonder if he got any real time for that one.

The part about not being able to have more than three days total limit.

Does that apply to the season or to just that particular trip, and then it seems you would have to be away from home for those three days.

It looks like another law nebulous enough to allow for a judge to do whatever he wants.

We got our limit in 2.5 hours on Saturday. It was a great night!

LOTS of sailboats coming in at dusk. One dummy must not have been paying attention, I told my buddy to watch this guy...and Bam dead stop in 15ft of water! Good times!
