Protective Arms Systems of Burlingame, ONT has patented a radio frequency system to warn hunters when their firearms are pointed at fellow hunters. The patent, 8,474,172, describes RF senders attached to all firearms and another type of RF sender attached to each hunter's clothing in a group:

When a hunter's firearm points within 5 degrees of another hunter in the group, a warning is sounded.
Do you think this would help improve safety when hunting in large groups, in heavy cover? My guess is that it would eventually be ignored as the novelty wears off, much as the center high mounted stop lights on vehicles are now ignored.
