Michigan 2A March- April 29, 2014

Once again this year MGO is teaming with other organizations to put on the Michigan's Second Amendment March which will be held on Tuesday, April 29th at Michigan's Capitol.

The march will begin at 9:45 a.m. with a sidewalk procession from the corner of Michigan and Pennsylvania to the Capitol. Speakers and entertainment are TBD.

The Michigan Legislature is in session that day. We'll be showing them the political strength of Michigan's legal gun owners.

The march is being organized by Skip Coryell's Second Amendment March and jointly promoted and funded by the Michigan Gun Owners, Michigan Coalition for Responsible Gun Owners, Michigan Open Carry, Young Guns of Michigan, and Michigan Students for Concealed Carry.

Please come out and show your support!!! Bring a friend, visit your representatives, let your voices be heard.

Great video on the Lansing State Journal website featuring an african american man talking about openly carrying and african american participation. I'm glad he showed up and I fully agree with his sentiment that more black folks need to participate because we know that they (black gun owners) are out there....

Most excellent event!

For next year, somebody might consider taping each of the speakers and posting them on one of the sites or even youtube.

I burned one of my precious few vacation days for this event, and glad I did!
