I really didn't see a good place to put this thread, so here goes.
Picked up this kit from this guy in AZ to give it a try. Wasn't willing to drop over 100 dollars per gun for night sites. Too many guns, too little money.
So, the kit is pretty simplistic. Just what you'll need to clean your sites, some simple stuff to use to maneuver the small dots in, and the dots themselves. You'll probably need a few extra tooth picks to help set them up and a hair dryer to warm up and set the adhesive for 30 seconds. Other than that, it's a pretty simple thing to do.
They are BRIGHT. I left them out for only approx. 3-4 hours while the sun was up and they glow just like the video when I walk into a dark room. I'm going to see if they are still bright in the morning after being in the dark all night. They do require a UV recharge to continue glowing for long periods (I don't know how long they'll retain their luminosity just yet-- will test) so sitting them out in the sun for a while or buying a UV key chain light may be a good idea.
He also sells strips in a different kit than the one I ordered. I paid all of 11.95 or so shipped, so I feel like I got a decent deal. I will update on longevity. Let me know if you want some pictures of my guns with them on.
