Odd request

I am looking for some property to hold a camp out for my Karate students. I am trying to put together a Camp out / Capture the flag event for my students and some parents in the Monroe area.

I have contacted Monroe county about park usage with no return feed back. Private camp grounds have a designated quiet time and state land that would accommodate us is a bit to far.

I have 50 students under the age of 18 and 15 parents currently signed up for the event.

How far from Monroe max are you looking for?

We are looking at june 28-29 or July 12-13. Distance from monroe, no more than 1/2 hour drive.

I did consider there. After reading rules a regs it stated no camping or ground fires (would like to have camp fire) my other thought was the recalled conversation I had with border patrol last year. There is a reason they spend so much time in the area. I dont want my students safety jeopardized.
