Bushnell Holosight

I recently purchased a used Holosight. When I turn it on the red circle with dot comes up, but it is not a sharp image, it's blurry.

It appearsto be working fine, I'm able to turn the brightness up and down and on/off.

Is this normal for a Holosight?

Yep. Pretty normal for the Holosight and eotechs in general.

Depends how blurry it is! Can you find another to compare? If in doubt I would contact Bushnell customer service. Have seen reports of good customer service.

my Eotech 512 is the same way. Not so much fuzzy as pixelated.

Pixelated does describe what it looks like..........just surprized I expected a better image.

It's the type of light being produced. The image comes from a laser diode. If you look at any decent to good quality laser pointer, the projected dot looks pixelated just the same. I'm not sure why exactly, but that's just the nature of the way the light is being produced.
