nice catch, I'm ready for the ice to break up. been watching satellite pics of lake st Claire and it's it fish able on ice now. I hope I can be on the water in a week . ;-) small jaws and walleye

There will be fishable ice here for at least 10 days and probably longer.

Since 1970, spring the ice has never stayed longer than the 30th of April (not safe of course, but floating ice). Im thinking a May date will be exceeded this spring. Will post the open water date when it happens
