I fished the St. Clair River south of the Black River on Saturday. Friend and I got 6 walleyes from about 6:30 - 9:30 AM. We were vertical jigging with soft plastic minnows.

Bolonytony24, are you actually admitting to DNR violations? Catch and release begins on April 26

I was in Meijer earlier this afternoon. They had a sign up at their sporting goods counter stating DNR site was down.

That is for buying Obamacare not DNR licenses. DNR should work fine?? Maybe it dont. Maybe Obama called the DNR for advice and that crashed the DNRs system.

erie - decent to good fishing in semi-dirty water off of ohio... BIG fish, males haven't moved up on the reefs yet.

LSC- who the heck knows, gotta be pretty dirty out there.

Detroit river - absolutely on fire. LOTS of BIG fish in the system right now.

fishing for LSC walleye right now is a method in futility, not many fish in the system, and they aren't too aggressive yet. water needs to warm up a bit more. funny how many people are fishing for "walleye" when they are tossing tubes and dropshoting this time of year.

sounds good, nice to catch some big walleye but I prefer the 18-20" males when they come in. better eating to me
