I like it but I'd be afraid of handling it in a stressful situation. Would require quite a bit of practice. Think I'll stick with a handgun at the ready and a stick near by...

Can't help but think when you go to grab it though, you're going to clock your wife upside the head with the barrel. Plus, If your wife is like some women out there, there's more like a half dozen or more pillows up against the headboard blocking it or even triggering it if you accidentally leaned against it.
