So I just thought I would share with everyone out there the newest optic I have added, a trijicon ta31rsr-r. This is a great value if you are in the market for an acog. It is a ta31 with red horsehoe (they also have a green). It comes in FDE and has tritium front sight dovetailed on the front of the scope. Got mine for $900 from manventureoutpost with a coupon code

I really like the scope, but the BAC system has always worked for me. From what I can tell, it is basically like an RCO model just with the horseshoe. It has the bosses for the RMR mount, laynards on the adjuster caps, and it has external adjusters.

This does appear to be a good deal. What is the BAC system? What does BAC stand for? What is the horseshoe? What is the difference between this ACOG and the ACOG's mounted on the M4 for combat in Afghanistan?

Here is a good explanation on BAC

Some people have issues with pulling it off. I have no trouble doing it.

you might want to review the scope in this thread, and post the deal in the "found a deal" forum.
