Just "house keeping".

Eliminating a reference to a definition that no longer exists in that law, it was changed 2 years ago.

I happened upon this house keeping opportunity a few months ago. Since he sponsored the previous bill, I approached Rendon on this one as well/

Interesting, now that you bumped it, I went and looked:

2014-HB-5748 (http://legislature.mi.gov/doc.aspx?2014-HB-5748)

12/3/2014 Expected in SJ 76 REPORTED FAVORABLY WITHOUT AMENDMENT
12/3/2014 Expected in SJ 76 COMMITTEE RECOMMENDED IMMEDIATE EFFECT
12/3/2014 Expected in SJ 76 REFERRED TO COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE

Reported out of committee and returned to the floor of the Senate. This may actually get somewhere. But of course, it doesn't mean anything.

The other two, HB 5749 & 50 also moved along with this one, which does mean something.

5091/5092 have sat on the Senate floor for 8 months. Word on the street is no bill makes it to final passage in the final chamber, unless the nerd signs off on it -- not even in lame duck. Not even if the bill has wide, bipartisan support when it passed the first chamber.
