Bow hunting during Gun Season

This may seem like a dumb question but I can't find the right answer. I found online that you can bow hunt during gun season as long as you wear orange. But then my good friend was telling me he thinks you cant bow hunt during gun season.

You must wear orange and have one of the following: an unused doe permit, combo tag or firearm deer tag. All rules that apply to firearm hunting apply to using a bow during firearm season.

I think they've done away with rifle and archery tags. Now you buy a base license and a deer kill tag or combo tag.
