Ultradot 25 dimensions to mount inside scope rings

Greetings, I currently have a Thompson Contender with fixed scope rings (one piece mount) that I am considering using an Ultradot 25 (1" tube) on.

I am very limited with the area between the rings. It looks to be approximately 1.38" between my rings and no, I have no desire to change out to a rail.

Does anyone know the absolute minimum distance between my rings needed to mount this Ultradot?

I would say 1.5 inches. I have a pic coming

I measure 1.655" on mine.

I get 1.36 inches with calipers for the square part with the turrets on it !

My measurement is the total area that rings cannot contact.
