Vortex Spitfire 1X, mounted on a Ruger 10/22

I mounted a Vortex Spitfire 1X on my custom Ruger 10/22 for Steel Challenge and was pleasantly surprised at how fast it can transition from target to target, given that it's a tube scope and not a reflex type. The circle around the dot makes it fast to get on target, faster than a dot alone. The dot itself is only 3MOA (though it seems smaller) and I was able to benchrest my shots into an inch at fifty yards. I had no problem shooting it with both eyes open.
The Ruger comes with a Weaver mount, so you will have to buy a picitinny mount for the Vortex cross bolt to fit in it.
