I took carry handle off my 1919 12 gauge and want to put on optics for deer hunting and fun. Will and aimpoint or trijicon be best. Hate to spend more on a fun site than I did the gun. Any suggestions

think this is an updated one of the one i have on my Saiga-12 i use at 3 gun.

http://www.amazon.com/1-4X28-Relief-Scope-36-color-Circle/dp/B00KIDPL08

The sight is a circle with a dot in the center. i zeroed the dot in the center for slugs. i can shoot a quarter at 50 yards with cheap 2 3/4 1oz slugs.

i found the circle works great for shot and even skeet shooting i found when tracking skeet the second the skeet breaks into the circle if i pull the trigger the skeet goes away lol. its kind of akward shooting skeet with a scope but got the hang of it pretty quick.

ive used it in 4-5 3 gun matchs still held its zero being banged around and what not and shooting who knows how many shells. but i did find that it will not light up anymore and do to recoil i lost the batt. and the batt. cover shooting it one day. but the glass is etched so i can still see the sight it is just black.

UTG sold me on that scope because 1 the long eye relief is nice dont want to be right up on a 12 gauge scope. and 2 they showed me a video they ran about 200 round of 00 buck high brass slugs high brass all kinds of stuff then at the end of the video he fired 5 slugs at 50 or 75 yards and he made one ragged clover....sooo they sold me on it

and for the price IMO it is well worth it. i need to contact them about it not lightning up and a new batt cover thoe.

just my 2 cents

where the Quarter is that was 5 slugs. The center one i just aimed lower and to the left....not bad for a 19" smooth barrel
