Martial Tactical Training of Michigan is hosting On Guard International for their Non Physical Crisis Intervention training.

The Non Physical Crisis Intervention (NPCI) is a 6 hour intensive course of non-violent conflict control including an assessment of present capabilities and skills, anatomy of personal conflict, non-violent communication, interpreting body language and physical cues, meta-messages, and controlling verbal exchanges. It also covers matching, building rapport and empathy, self control and centering, peaceful resolutions to conflict (deflect, diffuse, and neutralize an attack), dealing with fear and anger, remaining detached, team approaches, keeping safe and out of court, tactical positioning, patterns of movement and self protection strategies.

A graduate certification diploma is provided after the successful completion of the course.This course is MCOLES approved, and recognized as accredited by many Canadian and US colleges and universities.

Class Requirements:
This session is primarily classroom style.
Bring nutrition and hydration as necessary for 6 hours of classroom training.
Weapons such as live blades and firearms must be stowed appropriately in the training area.

When:
22AUG2015 @ 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
1 hour for lunch is allocated at approximately 1:00 PM.

Where:
MTTM training facility, within the Institute for Athletic Medicine.
937 N. Opdyke Rd., Auburn Hills, MI.

Who:
Anyone age 18+ interested in improving their nonphysical and deescalation protection skills.

Registration:
$175 for this session (6 hours)
