On Sepember 23, 2015…Washtenaw County Circuit Court Judge Carol Kuhnke dismissed a law suit filed by Michigan Gun Owners (MGO - The Pro2A Organization that provides this website/forum).

This means, to defend the rights of legal gun owners/carriers in Michigan, Michigan Gun Owners will have to file an appeal to this decision with a higher court. This is a costly move that Judge Kuhnke brought about for defense of lawful carry in Michigan.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Only with the donations from members or friends of MGO can we move forward in defending your rights!

What local unit(s) of government also will decide they can create illegal policies, illegally post their facilities as "no weapons allowed"…contrary to LAW?

When this case is won in a higher court, this will be the 3rd instance of "case law" to support…local units of government CANNOT do this! They MUST abide by STATE LAW…not their "emotional" interpretation/application of the law.
