Hunting in area 122?

I hunt on a block of land that overlaps 122 and 022 in the Western UP.
It looks like the point requirements will change drastically depending on what side of the river I am on.
I have a standard single license.
south side = no bucks with less than 3 points on one side.
north side = spikes are OK.

Do I have that right?

I find it odd that there would be additional restrictions in an area with higher deer numbers.

Interesting.

If you have a deer license (not combo) you could harvest a spike in 022 but not in 122.

But if you have a combo you are restricted to 3+ and 4+ in both units.

That is according to the guide.
