Side Mount Scope,HELP!!!!!

I just put a side mount scope on a Winchesteer model 94 post 64.I can't seem to get it sighted in right.Any help would be appreciated.

ok. what type of mount?
Is the mount tight?
are the rings tight?
Is the scope mounted correctly?
Is the scope in good working order? ( NEW doesnt mean a thing.. )

what is the issue with sighting it in?
- distance in which your sighting it in?
- not grouping?
- point of impact not moving after adjustments?

It is a Weaver 2 piece side mount.
The mount is tight.
the rings are tight.
the scope in mounted correctly.
The scope is in good working order.(I put it on another rifle and it zeroed right in.

Can't get on target.
25yds.
not on paper,shooting to the left of target even after adjustment.

Any suggestions ?????? Thanks

Are you saying that you've adjusted it as far as you can, but it's still shooting left of POA?

Yes !!!!But I went and bought a bore sighter,and that seemed to fix the problem.It is all sighted in now.Thanks for the help !!
