View Full Version : Catastrophic weapon malfunction — Taurus fires all by itself
Ruger

"They may not speak English, but we can understand gun failure in any language. This Taurus has suffered a cataestrophic malfunction allowing it to fire without a trigger pull. Even with the safety on, the slightest bump will cause the firing pin to drop. Watch him empty an entire magazine just by shaking the weapon."

Dad always said if you shake it more than twice you were playing with it and it might go off.

So I thought with Striker fired weapons it was half cocked and when you pull the trigger completes the cycle. So is there enough force from half cocked to ignite the primer.

And people blame it on the police for shooting people unnecessarily…the police don't shoot people, their guns shoot people!

Why will it not do it every day this year?

My thoughts on this guys review: He never mentioned accuracy. Hard to tout the auto-fire feature if it doesn't auto aim too.

This shoots my theory all to pieces....
How long will a gun have to lay somewhere(dining room table) before it shoots someone. Maybe that will hold up w/ that(those) guns.

If there is an earthquake…probably not long.
That's why guns are frowned-upon in California.

now all jokes aside, seriously, how could the firing pin move past the safety plunger if the trigger is not pressed to lift the plunger up.. Does the 24/7 has a safety plunger or not.. I am assuming all modern handguns have safety plungers.. Mind boggling problem...
