Save the date! The 2016 Second Amendment March will be held on Wednesday, April 13th. Details to follow.
This year's event is co-organized/sponsored by Second Amendment March, Michigan Gun Owners, and Michigan Open Carry.

Is there a tentative location, or at least a general area planned? The 13th is my birthday, maybe I could make a little road trip.

It happens right on the Front Lawn of the State Capital, can't miss it, look for the Circus tent, elephants and dancing girls!

Ha! I've never been to the capitol building. What kind of stuff will we be doing?

If You like to walk, you can participate in the actual March, route will be posted as it gets closer, normally about a mile total.

We will have a booth set up in the tent as well as MOC and S.A.M. There will be Special Speakers on an off all day, You can go visit your Representative if you like, Or you can just hang with us and meet people.

Seems like I saw a posting that at some point the march would adjourn to a restaurant, nearby..

I have to be in Dayton that eve so can attend the son-in-laws USAF promo to bird col.

Can a time schedule be posted or is it somewhere else?

I have used the ramp parking at Townsend & Washtenaw ( green spot on the map above ) it is close by and no issue with a gun on the property, some parking does not allow guns.
Note, do not park on the street in any space with a bagged meter.

Note for volunteers willing to help with set-up / manning the table, the trailer should be there about 9am, give or take a little depending traffic.

Set-up is mainly getting everything from the trailer to the tent and just a couple of people to help cover the table and let the volunteers take a break.

Ok taking the day off to come. Will try to be there early as possible and help with setup.

I'm bummed, I won't be able to make it either. We are right in the middle of moving to a new house. Can't really sneak away for a whole day.
