So am looking for a new shotgun for turkey hunting and I am torn between 3 models
Mossberg 535
Remington 870
cz 612

the only things I have heard about the Remington is that they kick like a mule and there are tons of parts
Or does someone have a better idea for a turkey gun.
Any input would be appreciated
Thanks

Meh, pick your poison, I use a 535 and it serves me well

if it was Remington of old, I would recommend the 870... since it isn't... take your pick, I may actually pick the cz.

Nothing wrong with an 870. Cheap and plentiful. They will all work. Ive put a few toms down with mine.

If you are using 3 inch shells they don't pound you too bad. But running 3.5 inch turkey loads all afternoon while patterning different brands and loads and none are fun to shoot. The 870 is plain vanilla. The 535 is a stouter heavier frame(and probably a bit better all around) that will tame recoil a bit more than the 870. The CZ,I have no experience with but wouldn't mind trying.

If you're interested in something cheap I have a Winchester 1200 16 gauge with a full choke for 150

I also have an 870 express with wingmaster 28 inch barrel, slug barrel, home defense barrel, pressure sensitive lighted forend and magazine extension for 500. Has wood and plastic furniture. Excellent recoil pad. Low recoil buckshot loads.
