Can anyone recommend a good guide for Boar Hunting in either Tennessee or North Carolina? Looking to put together a group of my friend for a 3-4 day hunt.

I researched this a while back.. I liked Tennessee Extreme Hunting Adventures (http://www.tnboar.com).. Matt Choate comes highly recommended as a guide. You should check them out.. Looks like fun to me!

You are going to have a ball Yooper. In the late sixties my dad took me to FL for a boar hunt. He shot a 300# with a 30-30 and I killed my 150# with a 22lr, hit him just below and behind the ear. There is something about being up close and personal on that kind of a kill that will get your heart pumping.
Good luck on your hunt.
Several years ago I hunted the Caryonah lodge in Tennessee. We had an awesome time, the guides were great, the terain is awesome and the pigs were mean!! We all hunted with traditional bows with no side arms, I chased my pig back and forth for almost 2 hours, everytime I would get close enough for a shot the boar would turn and charge me.

Great family operation, they could'nt do enough to make it a great trip.

huntmeister, myself and a couple other friends went to Crooked Creek. The price was great, the scenery was great, the accomadations were amazing and the hunting was super. Guaranteed you'll get the animal you want. huntmeister posted a few pics. If you want more let me know. I actually brought mine back and had a shoulder mount done.
Here are a couple pics of the boar:

If you looking for a Pay to hunt ranch in Michigan, just pick up a copy of Michigan woods and waters. Their are multiple listing for hunting ranches within the 300-500 price range. Or better still, just check out the michigan-sportsman.com and look in the General Michigan Hunting section for the Updated Feral Swine information to find the latest sighting for the hogs roaming wild around the state. Plenty have been shot and killed already, and they give all the latest sighting there.
