I already know it's possible, I just don't trust my own skills, so is there anyone who could do this for a nominal fee? sorry if this is the wrong thread for such a post, MODs please feel free to move.

May be legal issues for someone else doing "gunsmithing" for a fee without a license. Two good sites for this:

Old addage: measure twice, cut once. It's always easier to make cutout a little bigger than smaller!

Meant to add, is your single stack a pistol grip style? If "Dragon" style, you'll need to add five compliance parts to make it 922r legal.

Todd at CC did mine, was a good job overall. Granted the rifle was a POS so it didn't pan out as well as I wanted...

Make sure you get the correct number of import parts on there before hand. I had a US FCG, butt stock and handguard count as my five US parts.

thanks wombat and joey. i was thinking of contacting todd to do it, so i think thats what i'll do. and thanks for looking out wombat, i wasn't sure of that and figure it was why i wasn't getting many responses. i think i'll wait just a bit and have CCR do a bunch of stuff to it. Thanks.

I don't remember since I had some other work done as well. It wasn't a whole lot.
