Anyone in MI doing Kubotan Training?

I learned some stuff from Master Lee here is his site.

He does a level 1, one night self-defense class and gives you a kubaton as part of the class. In level 2 which I haven't taken yet he goes over knife and gun take aways

A good Krav Maga school would serve you better than Kubaton training....Purely my personal opinion.

Krav Maga is very instinctual and practical. It is not a martial art, it is real world self defense. The techniques are designed to be simple to learn and execute regardless of size, stature, age, gender, etc. They are based on instinctual human reaction. It was developed for the IDF and is still what they train today.

But by all means, if Kubaton training is what you truly seek, then do so. It's far better than having no training...
