I just picked up a Trijicon TR22-2G 2.5-10x56 scope for hunting on a bolt action. I want a set of QD 30mm Picatinny rings for it because I plan on swapping it back and forth with my FLIR thermal sight. The problem I'm having is figuring out what rings to use. Most of the mounting solutions I've seen are for the AR platform and I'm concerned about height.

If you want low profile, I'd go with this

https://www.gggaz.com/quick-detach-scope-base-with-integral-30mm-rings-for-bolt-guns.html

GG&G make great mounts.

I like that one but the problem is it doesn't specify what size scope it will accommodate. The Trijicon has a 56mm objective- huge

You are going to want rings that are called "extra high" to mount a scope with a 56 mm objective.

The base to center is 1.06"/26mm so is only good for 42mm objective if your barrel doesn't taper to make additional room.

If that's the case, get this with the accu-cam.

The centerline clearance is 1.46"/37mm so it can accommodate a 74mm objective.

A friend runs the same Trijicon objective on a CZ 557 Urban Counter-Sniper without an issue with the FLT.

Im not sure what your budget is. I would go with Nightforce or Seekins rings. When I used to have alot of Rifles and not enough scopes I used them. I found them to be repeatable. When switching them over, I always used a torque wrench and socket. If I remember correctly the cross bolt was 55 in/lb. Hope that helps
