Luepold LTO Tracker

Thinking of buying one of these...anyone have one? I have been tossing around the lower priced night vision binoculars and lower end scopes, $700 and under...but thought that this would be of more benefit to me...
The best price is still $560 for the Leopold... flir ,makes one but you have to send it back when the rechargeable battery gives out. really don't have a need for the night vision scopes over a $700
so anyone's experience with these and recommendations is greatly appreciated

Midnite, I too, am interested in this technology and your post caused me to do some looking around on the web. Over at snipershide there is a thread on this. One of the members there mention a company called Seek Thermal http://www.thermal.com and a similar unit that is comparable to the Luepold is under $500. Don't know about the batteries. Someone a lot more smarter than I will have to give the pros and cons to any device that is out there.
