Shotlock makes these devices for $125 bucks or so:

Anyone have any experience with them? Or have a similar product they use, have used, or have had hands on experience with that they'd recommend?

Appreciate any input.

Shotlock stuff is absolutely awesome. I'll post a video I made of the full size pistol safe I got for my girlfriend. I don't think for the money, you could get anything better.

Looks like you can open it pretty quick.

I like how spread out the buttons are.

Less chance of fumbling and hitting the wrong code... which is your death in an emergency.

Correct. It opens easily, with big moving parts. If you put in the wrong code, a simple spin of the dial "resets" it to start again. The only drawback is the combination must be in order. So, 1-2-3-4 cannot be input in any other order. (Maybe that's not a drawback...)

I can't recommend them enough. Very decent small safes.

I bought the Shotgun/AR15 Shotlock for my Beretta 1301 and love it. Very solid, easy to hit the buttons, no batteries.
