Not a good idea, a person restricted by a PPO loses their firearms right.

wait, you just have to be petitioning for a ppo? is there anything saying it has to be approved?
so you could just keep filing applications over against... say... the governor, a judge, anybody (including the bill's sponsor)... they would never get approved, obviously, but you would still be a special person, right?

Yes, I would say that anyone trying this would definatly be classified "SPECIAL". ;-)
