I looked at a used 3.5x35 ACOG yesterday, wasn't mounted on a rifle. How can I tell if the reticle is calibrated in .223 or .308?
I haven't found anything for sure online, or on the Trijicon site. I want to be sure before I shell out the money.
Sounds like I will have to contact Trijicon Monday with the model and serial number to be sure.
Any one know of another way by just looking at it?

Look at the far bottom of the reticle when looking through the optic, into the bottom edge of the housing. My TA-33RH says 5.56 on the bottom. Make sure you are looking out to a lighted area so it appears.

Thanks for the tip! I didn't notice the tiny eye test writing, at the bottom of the reticle housing.
Marked M14 100-600
over M240 700-1200
Looks like 7.62 for sure.
