Looks like a 'Nam fuse on a WWII/Korean era grenade body.

Did they have the blue fuses on pineapples for a while?

Blue is meant for training grenades, combat always have green. Helps stop incidents of live and dummy grenades getting mixed up.

Also no yellow stripe around the neck by the fuse, and no tape on the spoon. Missing hammer and spring.

Are the blue and the green fuses identical in operation? It just denotes that the grenade is or isn't loaded with powder and death?

No, the live fuze is M213, where the training fuze is M228

The M213 is more potent in operation.
