Apri 22-23, 2017 - 4 Project Appleseed clinics in Michigan!

Every year the events closest to April 19 are near and dear to the hearts of Project Appleseed instructors, as we commemorate the sacrifices made by the colonists who founded our nation, and the anniversary of the battles at Lexington and Concord. This year, the April 22-23 weekend hosts our special memorial events.

There are four Project Appleseed clinics in Michigan this upcoming weekend, at Battle Creek; Fenton; Lapeer; and Watervliet. There are still spots available. Go to https://appleseedinfo.org to learn more and to register! (You can also see the full calendar of events throughout the year.)

Yes, the LCSC event got dropped due to logistical issues. We've got some folks traveling out of state to support Appleseed events elsewhere and had to consolidate our events on the east side. Bittersweet outcome, but Michigan instructors are experienced and in demand!

For us East-siders, the Fenton range has plenty of space, and allows centerfire rifles on the line! Come join us at Fenton in Apr, or back in Lapeer during May!

Thank you Caliper, Mr. Surplus, Grindstone, D.O.M., DevilKitty, CritterKeeper, et al for an awesome event! While my best score was only a 99, I was super stoked to get 3x 400 yd on a Redcoat target (though, Morgan's Shingle eluded me) while using my tech-sights. Being only my second time ever handling a rifle, I'm proud of that.

While I can't make it to next month's event, I will definitely be attending again, and bringing along a friend or two.
