After 2 sets of Truglo Tritium sights failures, and now the front fiber optic fell out of a Williams set, I'm getting really ticked off at trying to find a set of sights for my G17. I'm not at all rough on my guns, and have never put the 17 in a holster, but just seem to have bad luck with sights.

I'm looking for a set of Notch and Post, adjustable target sights. I prefer a green front dot as I have a hard time seeing red.
There has got to be something that will last more than a month or 2. Any suggestions?

I have NEVER had a fiber optic sight that holds up to moderate use. A friend suggested I buy a small spool of emplacement filament and a small bottle of super glue. I doubt I'll ever buy another fiber optic iron sight. I've had great luck with Trijicon Tritium sights; haven't broken/failed one yet. They cost more, but seem well worth the money.

I don't mind spending $100+ as long as they hold up. Thanks, I'll check them out.
I'll see what the LGR has next time I visit.

Nice sights here, I like the all black set for target shooting.

I've had good luck so far with the Truglo sights.

I have a set of their competition sights with a wide rear notch in a fiber optic front. Have several thousand rounds through the gun I've carried in a holster and I've had it for almost two years. The only time I've had to replace the fiber optic in the front was when I wanted to change colors.

I also have two sets of Truglo tfx sights. Bright dark and daylight. In low light they are not ideal but work okay. Light bars are just right for accuracy and speed. I just wish the the orange glowed like HD's.

Not only that, they include 3 sets of pipes, and extras are available. Something others don't do at all. Not adjustable, but that doesn't make it a no-go.
I have a set ordered from Fuddlebucks on Ebay. Thanks.
