Ok so i am putting my ar back together and i have a couple questions

1 alright so i have a new cmmg lower and a 3 position stock put everything together today and the little detent that holds the large gas spring into the stock keeps poping out after i charge the bolt any help.

The buffer tube holds that detent in place. You need to tighten it a little more.

ok buy buffer tube do you mean the fine threaded part of the new stock that goes into the lower ? i know that probly sounds like a silly question if i thread it in to far i cannot get the detent down .
