Any buddy know anyone that buys or takes coon not skinned. The guy I took them to 2 years ago is no longer there. Seems to be alot on our property this year, time to thin them out.
thanks in advance,

Coons are abundant this year at the Mansion.

I and a friend would be happy to come out and thin the herd for you. We'd be no fuss, and the hides are yours.

Thanks for offer, but thinning is not the problem, its getting rid of them after I trap them.

Dig a hole a bury them. Decaying bodies will not attract dogs.

Really greasy, should par boil them for some time. Knew a guy in high school a few years back, we would get 20-45 each, kept us in spending money for the weekends for a while.

Bbq, rotisserie style is the best. Par boiled and grilled is good too. When I was in high school a guy from Detroit used to come to our area and buy them for $15-$30 each. That was more than what the furrier was giving at the time. Sold them at his BBQ place somewhere in Detroit.

I have many fond memories of hunting coons with my dad and our blue tick Bear, and as mentioned, we received 45$ each (late 70's/early 80's)...I would call around to taxidermists and maybe even DNR to see if they know anyone buying the destructive little varmints.
