Looking for a NRA Basic Range Safety Officer Course or equivalent. Is there anything else equivalent?

Bonus if its on the west side of the state.

You might consider researching this on the NRA website for course requirements, who and where it's taught etc

Stick around, MGO has offered NRA-sanctioned RSO classes in the past, and I'm guessing that, as the dust settles, we'll see more in the future.

I would like to try to get another class going as we have not had one in a couple of years.

Seems there's always interest, but never enough to get traction and moving.
Maybe this year?

Those are threads in the members area. I understand members only perks but you might get enough interest if you open it up to non-members. Then again I'm on the west side, so a MGO class would likely be to far for me to drive anyway. Seems like RSO classes are in the spring at ranges on this side of the state, so I'll ask around and wait.

Pay to play. 100% good with that.
I was hoping to give money to MGO / MGO forum member / Instructor, but it never seems to get any traction when the conversation comes up.
So I'll quit barking up a fruitless tree.

Mike was a driving force on these, and the previous board were not fans of how the classes were handed out, so they did not peruse having them and were working on a different way to manage that. We would like to pick them back up, but I believe I am the only CRSO left and will not be able to put on a class until after the first of the year due to family life. I would like to get at least 1 RSO class done next year, if not 2, maybe 1 spring and 1 before hunting season.

Completely understood Draken. And don't get me wrong, I wasn't' pointing a finger at anyone and I knew Mike was one of the players in the prior threads on the topic and a driving force.
I'm so much a fan of training, practice, etc. I don't know why they're so tough to put together, even when Mike was driving them. Never understood it. Whatever, life goes on.
Like I said, if there were an MGO one, that'd be my first choice. If not, then I'll look elsewhere.
I'll watch in the new year if you're planning one. Thanks.
