Are you sure it was a SKS rifle? Does he also have any bridges for sale?

Did you by chance mean paratrooper sks?

That is at least a real model, and different than the normal sks, so more collectable.

But no scope.

Afraid if you have a sks with scope mount that is not a dust cover aftermarket, they maybe cut wood, drilled and tapped the receiver and hurt the collectability.

I have a type 56. I even have that same bipod. Interesting didn't know there was factory scopes.

I was looking through the latest list of firearms to be destroyed by the State police and noticed a norinco SKS with first 3 of the serial # 111.
I hope it isn't one of these rare beauties!

Only a few prototypes.. field mods mostly Yugo. There are a few importer modifications made to boost sales as well as export modifications made to boost sales for the commercial market. As well as your bubba "snipers". Based on the information provided the Vue would be between $50 and $2300. There was no production SKS sniper.
