Who can chamber a barrel in 7.62x25 (30 Mauser)?
Or who have such a reamer for sale?

How close are 7.62x25 Tokarov and 7.62x25 (.30) Mauser? I googled briefly and found that they were close but not identical.

At the very least, the 7.62x25 was derived from the .30 Mauser. The M96 Mauser "Broomhandle" was very popular in Russia and later in the Soviet Union. The dimension of the two are within thousanths of an inch of each other with the exception of case length where the .30 Mauser is 2/100ths of an inch longer. Most firearms will fire either, but the 7.62x25 is considered to be loaded too hot for the M96 Mauser.

For all practical purposes 7.62x25 Tokarov and 7.62x25 (.30) Mauser are identical. Most surplus Tokarev ammo have bullets with bimetal jackets. It causes more friction on rifling and higher pressure in a chamber. Can be too much for Mauser 96. Old surplus .30 Mauser might be not powerful enough to cycle CZ machine pistols like CZ24 and CZ26. The reamers are near identical.
Still looking where to rent one.

Been considering getting a Spanish Destroyer carbine and having it rebarrelled from 9mm Largo to 7.62x25. OAL and body diameter are nearly identical, so it should be an easy conversion: action and magazine should work perfectly. Would make a handy carry around/small game carbine. Performance of the 7.62x25 from the carbine length barrel should be pretty good, the 7.62 is cheap to shoot, and Wolf offers boxer primed hollow points.

Please let me know if you will have a reamer for sale. I'll do the same. Still looking for reasonable deal.

F.Y.I From all 7.62x25 ammo i tested only Czech Selier&Bellot had 460 Joule muzzle energy off 320 mm barrel. The rest were below 300 Joule and very inconsistent. Not good even for a small game
