Just looking for some opinions on best bulk 9mm luger ammunition as I have my first handgun that I will be using regularly (G26)... I found some PMC Bronze for $82 for 300 rds... and non brand stuff for $95/500 rds..

I am looking for 500-1000 rds to purchase.

Any thoughts, more ideas/locations would be helpful... also, anything on certain ammo being known for being more dirty etc...

Thanks!

You might want to consider this (http://www.mastercast.net/amo.htm) they only sell boxes of 50, but you can buy a lot of them. You may also want to go to Spectacle Lake outdoor club (http://www.sloc10.com/home.htm). They have cheap ammunition in the clubhouse, but you have to shoot it there, and return the box and brass.

You should come to one of the 3 gun matches. They take place every third Sunday of the month April to October. Shooting starts at 10AM on the 50 yard.

Mastercast seems like they have some very fair prices.

I am sure it is because of the brass exchange, on account of the case is the most expensive of the 4 components.

Even on there bullets they were priced nice. $74 for 1000 9mm fmj 124 gr plus like ten bucks for shipping. They also had some lrn for like $48 plus shipping.

Is this just some fun competitive shooting? My little G26 and I have not had a lot of practice yet...

Yes! we are scored, but it is just for fun. First we shoot handguns, then we shoot shotguns (with a optional transition to the shooters handgun after emptying the shotgun if he/she desires), then rifles.
