I sent a round of monthly renewal reminders via email this morning, but all MS owned email domains bounced back since anti-gun Microsoft has evidently blacklisted MGO's IP address/emails. This is the first month that all MS owned email domains have blacklisted MGO. This was just after we applied for a non-profit MS Office license and was denied, even though we are a bonafide 501(c)(3) public charity organization.

So, if you use:

We cannot communicate with you via email due to this unwarranted blacklisting by Microsoft. We can receive emails from you, but Microsoft has decided on your behalf to block incoming emails from us to you.

I only have a gmail address for you, so I did a test to my @comcast.net email address and it came through fine.

You are probably using MS Office (Outlook) as your email client. That should not be a problem. The problem is when using MS owned domains (@live.com, @outlook.com, @hotmail.com and @msn.com).

I operate a gun forum and have not seen this happen with any of our users (yet). It may be that they haven't associated us with our IP address yet or it may be because I am using a third part SMTP service instead of the built in PHP mailing platform.

I've had many companies tell me my Hotmail account bounces their emails when they actually come thru fine. It's really odd, I will change it to my own domain email soon, since it's part of the package I pay for hosting a site that still isn't up yet. Might as well get some use out of it.

Can we just drop "anti-gun" when describing companies that ignore American's Civil Rights and just refer to them as Anti-Constitution from now on, because that's really what they are. Their position on firearms is no more offensive than their apparent position on Freedom of Speech and Freedom of the Press. Think about it. Because they don't like guns they will do whatever they can to limit our speech and our ability to publish.

I'm still getting emails from GOA to my .MSN account, but I had to swap it out for a gmail address to get MGO email. I would have thought that GOA would be a higher priority on the ban list than MGO.

I would suggest ProtonMail, its not hosted in the US and has much higher security standards. I've been in the IT field building and designing networks and network security for over 25 yrs. Just thought that might be of some value.

You realize that the First Amendment only covers governments, not private businesses, such as Micro$uck and Google.

Sure…since only 100% (minus Microsoft) of email domains have no issue with migunowners.org emails.

Microsoft did this to us, as well as ar15.com and ar15.com has been blacklisted way longer than MGO, so I'd say it has everything to do with Microsoft taking a political stance against gun owners.

As mentioned in the OP, it is no small coincidence that this happened to MGO just after we applied for a non-profit license for MS Office, and we were denied, even though we are a bona fide 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity organization.

I'd also like to add Reagan.com as a good source for a mail account. $40/yr. It's hosted by the Reagan Presidential Library and their IT staff are very proactive. Most secure and spam free e-mail I've ever used.
